What is Veterans in Service?

We are a group of Veterans who believe that leaving the service doesn’t mean we have to stop helping our communities.

We help our fellow brothers and sisters in uniform year-round and never forget the veterans who have returned home safe, injured, or wounded.

Our Veteran Training Non-Profit Organization offers support to deployed Military by sending care packages to those on the front line overseas. We utilize our resources and contacts to send packages to those in the harm’s way and send these Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines what they need while defending our freedom.

We have been “Over-There” so we have first hand knowledge of which items are hard to find in Military Supply areas and the items that will allow them to enjoy their limited free time.

By sending care packages to those deployed overseas, our wounded in Military hospitals, and active duty military on second and third tours we hope to lift morale by showing these brave individuals that they are not forgotten while they are gone.

We give a portion of our collected donations to local community programs, and we have established Fallen Heroes education scholarships for students hoping to pursue further schooling after high school. We offer these individual scholarships in the name of a Massachusetts fallen hero who has  lost his or her life in the line of service. We will continue to honor their memory by never forgetting their ultimate sacrifice.

We provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of well-coached Olympic-type sports for individuals with and without disabilities. We do this by providing them with continued opportunities to improve physical fitness and prepare for sporting events. Veteran Training contributes to the physical, social, and psychological development of disabled veterans with athletic challenges. Through successful events and training in sports, athletes gain confidence and build strength, ability and coordination, which they carry into their new civilian lives.

Over the next year our goal is to open a much needed facility with Veteran Training here in the South Shore that will help rehabilitate injured Veterans, and develop the confidence necessary to lead a physically and mentally healthy lifestyle.
